We love teaching. The connection with students, the light-bulb moments, watching someone grasp something for the first time. What we didn't love was everything around it.

The hours lost to administration. Sunday evenings spent writing lesson plans from scratch. Report season meaning late nights for weeks on end. Scattered spreadsheets for grades, paper registers that got lost between classrooms, notes scribbled on post-its that never made it home.

The tools that were supposed to help were often worse than the problem. Clunky school systems designed by people who'd clearly never stood in front of a class. Software that took longer to learn than it saved. We kept thinking: surely someone could build something better than this.

So we did. Smart Teacher started as a side project — a tool we built for ourselves because nothing else worked the way we needed it to. It grew from there. Every feature comes from real classroom experience, real frustrations, and real conversations with teachers about what actually matters in their day.

The attendance register works the way a real teacher needs it to — fast, one-tap, done in seconds before the lesson starts. The lesson planner is structured the way teachers actually plan, not the way a product manager imagines they do. The AI doesn't replace your expertise — it handles the tedious parts so you can focus on the craft of teaching.
